Hello Sunday☕️πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

Hello Sunday☕️

I found this shirt on Etsy! I’m having McShane Massage put on the back.
So excited to wear this at the salon.

Yesterday I was in a Belgrade, MN. Sharing all the family history and information that a I have. Over the years, I’ve collected photos and information. I’m always searching for the stories that build the characters of my ancestors. I’ve found that just holding a luncheon is enough to collect those stories and moments. It doesn’t always have to be a big deal or reunion.

The month of August I have committed myself to getting back on track health wise and stop this Covid19 weight gain. Part of the weight gain is the constant resting. The other part is making excuses for myself and eating everything in sight. I truly do not have an off button, ugh😀😭 So if you’d like to join me. I am following The Galveston Diet on Instagram. Today is day 2 of the program. Today I am to set some goals. 1. Shed some pandemic pounds.πŸ™ŒπŸ» 2. Show up and participate in the challenge every day✔️ 3. My personal goals - eat better, stop making excuses and start a walking program. 4. Take personal measurements- well... for this I’m using my shorts that are too snug. 😏

So here we go - into the last month of summer and hopefully better health.

Have a great Sunday ☕️πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

Hello Saturday ☕️πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

Hello πŸ‘‹πŸ»

May this day find you at your very best.

I can’t believe July is over. Summer always goes too fast. Today I decided to take a look back at July.
Business wise I continue to grow. More new clients this month then June. Yay. I’ve continue to fine tune the website. The little work I’m doing helps search engines find me. I continue to post and update my Google Business listing daily. This is suppose to help as well. Blogging is also suppose to help the search engines so I continue to do it daily. Hey - did you know that if you click the follow button you get an instant $10. towards your next session? How great is that! Easy right.
The down side is a I still haven’t and probably never will get those air conditioners I paid for and ordered. Live and learn. If it sounds to good to be true - then it probably is. ☹️

The cool stones have been a big hit and the aroma therapy as well. Healing Touch (Mediumistic Healing) has taken off. For me that’s wonderful to see.

I tried going back to our gym this month. Sadly that did not work out. This month more then the month of June, I’ve experienced more brain fog, and a handful of other symptoms that caused every moment of down time to be rest time. It’s hard to explain to family. It would have been easier to loss a limb and get help then brain trauma and look well.

I got 3 quilt tops turned in for quilting. This is huge. I’ve been just making quilt top after quilt top and finally decided a I need to finish the whole thing. 🀷🏼‍♀️ I have 3 more that I hope to get turned in this week as well. Then I hope to get back to finishing some quilt Tops that I recently started.

Today I am off to Belgrade. I’m meeting family (small group of about 5) for some Family History time. I’m running it and organizing it. Honestly someone needed to take the bull by the horns and just start doing something. So I decided to simply hold a lunch and meet. I have a tons of family history and a huge collection of family photos so I decided it’s time to share. And maybe just maybe someday 50 years from now there will be another person just as excited about history as me and continue my work.🀷🏼‍♀️

It's Friday

Hello Friday

Today I am taking some much needed down time. I have a family gathering tomorrow to discuss our family's history. My hope is to educate and share to the best of my ability. My intent as always is to make it fun and easy to follow. There is nothing I hate more then going to a family history event and have to sit and read through tons of information. I am truly a person that loves posters and visual ads. I will remember and enjoy it so much more.

Today I will be creating poster boards and organizing my information so that I can answer questions easily and share without chaos. (This is my mediation this morning)

Have a blessed day

Looking Into CBD Oil

I'm looking into new ideas for both retail and massage this fall. I'm considering adding CBD oil/Massage cream as an add-on come this fall along with a product line of Biofreeze and other lotions.

CBD

Fighting Pain, Resolving Stress

Here's some reasons to use CBD
  • Hemp-derived, non-psychoactive CBD has been found to benefit individuals who suffer from chronic pain syndromes such as fibromyalgia, neuropathy and more. it helps to relieve aches and pains and release the tension that often causes pain to linger and grow
  • CBD helps support sustained pain relief, relaxation and relaxing sleep.
  • Pain medications may not be taken for prolonged periods due to the damage they can inflict on the stomach, liver, and kidneys.
  • Some use CBD as an adjunct to their pain medications and some have been able to eliminate many of their medicines completely.
I'm interested in your thoughts on using CBD oil on your painful spots during a massage. Would you use it?

Hello Sunday

Hello Sunday☕️πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ
Somedays I wish I could say what's on that Coffee Cup. haha

We had a great day yesterday. We spent the afternoon with our oldest daughter, Vienna, and her son, Sawyer at the Cozy Corners Campground.

My husband and I

She has a camper there. Well...Small home if you ask me. Very nice. And quiet. WOW.  This Albertville mom has never stayed at such a quiet park. We stopped to view the camp grounds as we are contemplating what we will be doing next in our life. There's a lot of pros and cons. I can hear my dad already - He'd say, "I don't know why you would purchase a camper when you can just come home and enjoy the peace and quiet."
'Home' is an hour and a half away from us. We set time with our grandkids as a high priority and this would be right in their hometown of Richmond.

 Me and my grandson.

Again we have a lot to consider.

Wishing you the very best this Sunday.

Hello Saturday ☕️

Hello Saturday☕️

This great coffee cup was found in my home town. Glenwood, MN is the home of MN Olive Oil Company. What a great place. My middle daughter, Sierra, and I were in town looking for something to do and came across this store. I think she felt like she died and went to heaven. Not only did they have oils - over 51 flavors, they had a ton of spices.

Starting this last spring, Sierra started her own muffin business. Feiler Family Muffins. She’s been selling muffins this summer at the Farmers Market in Alexandria.

When she announced that she was going to make and sell muffins while we were all in quarantine, we all said, Sure you are. Like no you aren’t. You don’t even know how to bake, we replied. She proved us all wrong. Her muffins are the best. She even has her husband now helping her. We call him the Muffin Man, of course.

When she realized the oilerie had spices she was so excited and filled a basket full of possible muffin ideas. She also grabbed a bunch of Balsamic Vinegars. I can’t wait to try all of them. I grabbed a basket and filled it with oils to use in Bundt cakes #bundtingthroughlife and on fruit.

With that - Happy Saturday☕️

3 Things to Fight Concussion Symptoms

This last week I've been battling fatigue, brain fog and have been on an emotional roller coaster. These things are all symptoms of a concussion. I'm grateful that their playmates dizziness and nausea have not played with them. These on going symptoms cause me to become less engaged with family and friends and less motivated to do anything. All kidding aside what is one to do when you battle this every day. I honestly could lay in bed all day and not move until it passes but this just causes my pets and spouse to become unruly. SO it's time to go back to the important things I was taught when this happens. Three things I do to fight my symptoms.

1. Sleep

Sleeps the most important item to get. The more sleep I get the clearer my head feels. I sleep with a weighted blanket to calm the physical anxiety that also comes from these symptoms.

2. Daily organization

Do to my short term memory being effected, I have a written out daily schedule. Not a list of To-Do's but a list of items to do to make sure my brain doesn't wonder off and forget. Things like have a cup of coffee in the morning, mediated once I get my cup, make breakfast, make my bed, shower, dress. Yes - It comes back to very basic things but because of the way my brain is currently it needs direction. I've learned that when I feel out of sorts that it's time to go back to the basics. After a few days of the basics that fog seems to clear and I can go on my own without the list for a few days.

3. Grounding

I can't say enough about it. Get outside and lay on the ground for 20 minutes or go for a walk barefoot in the grass. You need to get that healing energy of the planet back in you.

Thank you for joining me today.
