Phasing out the term ‘Energywork’

Today I explain why the term ‘Energywork’ will be phased out.

My whole life I have spent moving and creating energy. It wasn’t until 1999 that I started exploring what it is and reaching out to like minded individuals. At this time very little information was out there and very little guidance. I believe we were the beginning of this great Healing modality. It is here - In the beginning that our belief was based on the energy being not from us or about us - it ALL comes from the higher power or God. I stand by this belief.

Ten years ago I chose to add the word Energywork to my business because it had became popular enough and better understood. Today it’s meaning has morphed into something very different and this is why you see the term Mediumistic Healing or Spiritual Healing used more often on my website.

During Covid19 I’ve had more time to research modalities and seek out old teachers and mentors. This has brought a new awakening me in. Life experiences and regret had kept me from staying in touch but now my eyes are wide open.

Modern day use of the term Energywork has a very different meaning about it. As our computers come stronger and more complex, I have seen them being used to change our Energy the way they feel fit verses the way God may feel fit. There’s larger groups of Energy workers using their own energy to some how heal you. I don’t want a computer to fine tune me or someone else’s energy changing mine. My soul does not crave this.

Today a new term has been given to those of us who were here in the beginning, Healing Medium. A Healing Medium is defined as a vessel for the power of the presence which is the true source of healing. They know that they do not actually heal, because they do not control or direct the healing power. They allow the healing to come from the Spirit, through their Spirit, to touch the recipient in whichever way is needed.

An energetic healer today generally works toward a specific result dictated by the apparent nature of the physical complaint or the mental distress of the recipient. A Healing Medium recognizes that only the Divine knows where healing is most needed and allows the healing to flow without expectation of a specific outcome. The sole intention of a Healing Medium is to serve the spirit of the recipient. They have no investment in the outcome.

I leave you with this - One in the Power, One in the Spirit.
