Today we take a look back at June. The salon reopen Monday, June 1st.The first week was probably our hardest. We had been home since March 17. Our legs were wobbly and we were all so nervous. In all honesty it took me about 3 weeks to get into a groove. I had spent my downtime learning so many new techniques and business information that a I made myself overwhelmed. 

The decision to take on the massage room full time meant pulling out all of my business stuff that had been packed away for years. It meant that I got to decorate my office. I got to create ‘The Massage Room’ after all of these years. It’s been a long time but much deserved. I can’t express enough how excited I am. But I sure you have noticed the changes in me.

Many new systems were put in place for everyone’s safety. Cleaning, of course, is huge. Every time I turn around we’re cleaning and wiping things down. You should wear a mask upon entering the salon and moving to the massage room.

The massage table is new to You. It has been with me since the beginning of my career when massage tables were built at their very best. It’s extra thick and comes with arm and leg extensions. It is covered in a plush lambs wool. It also contains an earthing (Grounding) mat. This brings that earthing energy right to you. You will not find this kind of comfort anywhere else in town.

I have Hot and Cool Stones to use on those knots. As well as my tuning forks have made a comeback. I do have a cooling weighted blanket but we’re all on the fence about that yet. Ask to try it and let me know what you think? It’s also good for people that struggle with settling down (ADHD), relaxation and anxiety.

One of my favorite new items is the Online scheduling and check out site. I admit I was worried. I ran a ton of tests while at home. You can view the long list of Massage options and Add-Ons. I added many different types of massage for different health needs of clients. I also made Healing Touch or readings or whatever works in your vocabulary a separate service.

 The other huge piece was Finally! 13 years (I did the math) I sat down and put a business website together that reflects who I truly am. I have a Menu page, A Healing Touch (Mediumistic Healing) page, An About me page that goes into great detail about my history and education and finally this Blog. You know that saying, The truth will set you free. Well I think in this case that is what happened. Once I got it all laid out in a style and manner that I love, I feel free and a lot happier. 

I renewed my lease this month for another year.

Don’t Let other People’s FEAR ruin your life. 

I ordered to small air conditioners for the room a week and a half ago. Ugh 😬 Due to Covid there’s not clear idea as of yet when they maybe shipped. So I will just keep praying for them.

Most of all - I am so Thankful for the wonderful ladies at the salon and my clients.
